Questions
How is the winner picked?
Randy shuffles everyone who pressed Participate and picks at random, so every participant has the same chance. It uses an ordinary pseudo-random generator, which is fine for a giveaway but isn't a cryptographically auditable draw.
Can I require people to subscribe to my channel?
Yes. Send /subscribe @yourchannel (or several channels separated by commas), and only subscribers can join. Randy has to be an administrator of those channels to check.
Can there be more than one winner?
Yes. /number 5 picks five different winners in every raffle from then on.
Does Randy work in channels?
Yes, in channels as well as groups, as long as it's an administrator there.
Who can end a raffle?
An administrator, by replying to the raffle message. Ordinary members can only join.
Is it free?
Yes. There is no paid plan, and the code is open source under the MIT license.
